7. Reorganize data

This section of the documentation explains how to change how data files are organized in Escher-Trace. Specifically, it contains walkthroughs of altering the order in which condition groups are presented in graphs, changing how samples are grouped together, as well as renaming condition groups.

7.1 Reorder Conditions

The order that condition groups appear in Escher-Trace graphs can be rearranged at any time by following the steps below.

7.1.0 Make Organize Conditions Pop-up Appear

Click Reorder Conditions.

7.1.1 Organize Conditions

Left click and drag a condition below To Graph wait for the blue rectangle to appear and let go:

Continue arranging conditions under To Graph, until the desired conditions are included in the correct order.

7.1.2 Submit or Abort Changes

Submit changes by left clicking Submit. Abort changes by clicking the X in the top right.

7.2 Reorder Files

The order that data files are grouped together in Escher-Trace can be rearranged at any time by following the steps below.

7.3 Edit Condition Names

Condition groups can be renamed in Escher-Trace at any time by following the steps below.

7.3.1 Update Condition Name

Left click on the white box next to the current condition name and type the new desired name.

7.3.2 Submit or Abort Changes

Click on Submit Form to submit changes or left click on the X in the top right to abort changes. After submission, Escher-Trace graphs will be updated with the new condition names.
